Hansen’s visit to London last week was partly inspired by the decision to approve construction of a new coal-fired power station at Kingsnorth in Kent.
This, Hansen wants to warn us, is a recipe for global warming disaster. The recent warm winters that Britain has experienced are a clear sign that the climate is changing, he says.

The only way Anthropogenic Global Warming theory can be disproved is through the provision of that which cannot possibly exist, which is static global temperatures.
It’s not all that complicated.

Umm…what happened to 1934 and 1998? According to the Washington Post (12/10/10), “The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration…has identified 1998 as the warmest year on record. Is every year going to be “the warmest year on record”?

It’s 2nd Jan 11 here and we are having some big floods up north around Rockhampton. Some joker in a comment in the Mail on line says it’s a sure sign of global warming and we should prepare for more of it. Then again the floods are being described as the biggest “in fifty years”. Obvious question to the commenter and James Hansen and the rest of the data fiddlers is what caused the big floods 50 years ago? Could it be that in 1960 we were in a cool and wet period? Maybe their was a La Nina or some other natural cycle.
The first thing the warmers should have done (and they did try) was to erase all climate history. Mann did as did Wikipedia in getting rid of the MWP and LIA. Trouble is every country town in Australia has some building or orther with the flood heights inscribed along with the date. And no number of green leftoids will remove those marks and associated memories.
Ignoring history means a lack of preparedness for the next big flood or in your case the next big snow storm.
Fake global warming, yet another violation of our rights. Add it to the list of gov’t violations of our right:
They violate the 1st Amendment by placing protesters in cages, banning books like “America Deceived II” and censoring the internet.
They violate the 2nd Amendment by confiscating guns.
They violate the 4th and 5th Amendment by molesting airline passengers.
They violate the entire Constitution by starting undeclared wars for foreign countries.
Impeach Obama and sweep out the Congress, except Ron Paul.
